Conwy, Menai bridge, Angelsey & Caernafon,

Today was a big day of driving for Jason as we headed right up to the top of Wales. Conwy and its castle was a must. Jason went inside as dogs were not allowed. I walked the harbour and took in the views from the outside. Meeting up with Jason afterwards he said it was one of the best ones hes seen. We stopped off in the harbour for fresh crab rolls on the key before passing the smallest house in the united kingdom. So small, honestly if it wasnt for queues to enter i would have missed it. As we thought this would be our only visit north we decided to cross over to the island of Anglesey. The Menai bridge and strait, they way we chose to go. Pulling up at the bridge it was under maintainance and controlled by traffic lights. Whilst waiting our turn i hopped out to take photos of the stait from the bridge. Green light we went to move only to be met by oncoming traffic. The lights had failed resulting in the oncoming traffic. Now reversing and pulling over on the bridge. Finally on Anglesey, we didnt know what to do. Heading off to Holyhead and the Southstack lighhouse. Overlooking the ocean looking out towards Dublin, ireland. The wind here was freezing and dangerous. You wouldnt want to get to close to the edge.

Caernafon and its harbour castle. Jason once again going in. He loves the history so I dont mind him going in, my only requirement is he takes photos. The harbour full of bus loads of tourists. I walked the walled town with the dogs. The town square beautiful and inviting. Our last day filled with a walk along the coastal path. An accidental find on our way back from our walk to Black sand rock beach. The dogs loved it, loads of room to run. A war bunker in the side of the hill, quiet quaint bays with lapping waves. Our days in North Wales filled with so many amazing places.
