We made it to the west coast of Spain, on an aire right on the beach in Sanxenxo. It’s absolutely stunning and apart from one other camper, we are the only ones here. Last night we stayed in Ames just out of Santiago de Compostela, with about 10 other campers parked above the town in a car park. Apart from being a little chilli it was a great stop and free. Being Sunday everything is closed except the Churros stand. Just what we needed at €2 for 6 plain and 3 freshly covered in chocolate. We bought bikes folding bikes yesterday at the sports warehouse Decathlon next to Lidl. what a bargain under £400 for the pair. Jason’s is the model up from mine but looks stronger to carry his weight. They are great mine fits in the side locker and Jas’s behind the third seat when driving. We did a test run with the dogs around the car park last night, it also tried them out like being on a treadmill. Then headed off to the local supermarket which had self-serve washing machines, so we are now up to date and it had free wi-fi whilst you sit there. But I can’t complain where we are now sat overlooking a beach not far from Portugal, probably an hour at the most drive. So some chillaxing for a couple of days i think.
